Predictions Bournemouth Arsenal

AFC Bournemouth will be looking to put their painful 0-2 defeat at the hands of Stoke City behind them when they take on a struggling Arsenal team next weekend. AFC Bournemouth have only kept 1 clean sheet at the Vitality Stadium this season, while they have conceded 11 goals in their last 3 home games. Scott Dann and Danny Ward are two of their defensive performers who won't be facing a strong Arsenal squad. AFC Bournemouth have beaten Arsenal in the last 2 meetings between the two sides. Aaron Ramsdale will be looking to keep that run of form alive. Arsenal have won two of their last 3 Premier League games. Defending has been a problem for Arsenal recently, and that's how they have managed to concede 5 in the last 2 games. AFC Bournemouth did put in a good performance at Stoke City last weekend, making it a fairly disappointing one for the Cherries. The fans will be hoping their side have learned their lesson and are ready for a much better performance away to a struggling Arsenal team. Arsenal 4-1 Bournemouth: Arsenal have won their last four Premier League games by an aggregate score of 12-1 but that didn't stop them losing 2-1 at Chelsea in their last match. It looks like my earlier prediction of Bournemouth getting a big win at home over Arsenal turned out to be well wide of the mark because the hosts won the game 2-1. So, while Arsenal have shown resilience and character over the last few weeks, I’m not sure whether they have the quality to come through against a full strength Bournemouth team. I’m going for a 5-1 home victory for Bournemouth. Steve Nicol’s side have been in good form since missing out on the play-offs last season. ‘The Cherries’ are currently in fifth place and one point behind fourth-place Arsenal. They face Arsenal back at The Emirates on Saturday.
